Try using the Thickbox Gallery Widget:

I've used it for several things and it works well. Please let me know if this works or not as I have another solution but it is a lot longer!

Thickbox is to show images or other content in an overlayer on top of the page, with the possibilty to previous/next content, just like Lightbox, Fancybox and other "lightbox" alternatives.

I didn't feel like downloading the files from the links you posted (there wasn't a demo there), but I found both the Autoviewer and Simpleviewer here: http://www.simpleviewer.net/ .

I don't know how to combine the two, but Simpleviewer looks similar to what can be found at http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menu/ or http://www.stunicholls.com/gallery/index.html , without the use of Flash.

They have a Support section (apparently you can use your own template) and an email address in the About page.

I suppose you meant to say "for free". You can't know unless you try.
