I have a site at http://www.my2008choice.com

I loaded a simple rating system on the site and have no time to do anything with the site.

I noticed Google gave it a PageRank of 2....

What am I missing how can a site with nothing and no linking work get a PageRank of 2? If you do a search on Google for the site you get 1 hit. So it can't be backlinks.

Any ideas? I have noticed the rank will be there and not there. Is it a fluke in the Google toolbar?

Here are a few others, but most of them don't get a PR2: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%...g+Script+1.8%22

The system itself shouldn't be able to get PR, only URLs.

I checked the other sites and your right. I work as a software developer and ask one of our ai guys about his thoughts on the PageRank inner workings. He said it could be related to the possible strength of the name of the domain.

All I know is I have no explanation for how the PR went to 2.

I think there may be high pr links to your site but you can't find it at google.

Even Yahoo and other backlink checker tool don't shows any backlinks sad.gif
I think it can be due to age of domain ( 2 years old ) for badmoebel-club.de/
but my2008choice.com is just 4 months old so wacko.gif
