Hi,

Could anybody tell me how one could display an excel file in a browser. They must be able to work on it and then save the work done, so other people could browse to it and see the changes, they also need the option to be able to download it.

Please help thanks,

Peter

A rule of the Internet: if you can see something in your browser, you've downloaded it.

To view an Excel file, use a viewer...
http://www.microsoft.com/office/000/viewers.asp

To edit it, they will need a spreadsheet program capable of reading/writing Excel files.

This doesn't really sound like something suited to a browser. It's more of a workgroup/collaboration thing IMHO, and that may be the option you want to look at.
