I see no place to change a password. The reset does not send me email after waiting 15 minutes.

Look at the left column in your control panel. Last under the second heading from the bottom, OPTIONS, you have Change Password.

Don't know if it works to link.

Thanks, I eventually found that reset too but after I asked for a reset. Too late for changing my password and, with not getting a response to a reset, it looks like my account is toast.

Did you use the Lost Password form at http://forums.htmlhelp.com/index.php?act=Reg&CODE=10 ? Haven't tested myself, but I don't think it resets anything, it's just supposed to send an email. Only after you've received such an email (and followed the link in it) can you change password. If you haven't received any email your old password should still work, and can be changed like pandy suggested.

Good question. I never logged out. It just fails to accept the new password when the old one is in limbo from a failed reset.

Have you checked your spam folder? Tried the reset again?

I do not see a way to get to my control panel again but your link does work and the password change also did work this time.
Thanks.
Suggestions:
Maybe the web design can be improved for my next password change.
Also maybe the help search on "password" should tell the user how to change it.

"My Controls" in the blue menu at the top of the page.

A search for "change password" takes you to this page that tells you where to change the pw.
http://forums.htmlhelp.com/index.php?act=H...DE=01&HID=4

A search for only "password" returns the above page plus the page about how to reset a lost pw.
