HTMLHelp Forums _ General Web Design _ Website Dimensions Help!

Posted by: big_rock_show Aug 28 2006, 08:54 AM

I am currently working on the website http://www.sdsucru.com for South Dakota State University's Campus Crusade organization.

On the very first page (index page) I'd love if the site could come up as the exact dimensions of the blue background graphic, no larger than 900x600 pixels. I realize that if anyone has a screen resolution larger than that, the site comes up with a lot of white excess to the right and below the original background graphic. Is there any way that I can chose what size browser window it opens up in? The only page on this site that I need to do that is the index. I'm using Frontpage 2003. Thanks for your help!!

I believe the answer you're looking for is here:

But I have to say a few things:So, the bottom line is that my strong recommendation would be to leave the site just the way it is.

Take care,

John
