This is not a question related to HTML, nor does it have anything to do with "suggestions, feedback and forum assistance requests". So it doesn't really have a place in the forums.
Anyway, maybe this helps: You should connect the two computers together, so that the disk of your old computer mounts on your laptop as an external disk. Then you can copy the file to the appropriate folder of the laptop. Or, if you don't know how, you could copy the bookmark (or favourites) file on a USB stick and place that in place on the laptop. |

If we talk about IE here, the easiest may be to copy the hole Favorites folder from the old machine to the new. Favourites are just a bunch of folders and shortcuts, .url files, in a specific location. You can create a backup too while you are at it.
On XP my Favorites are at C:\Documents and Settings\pandy\Favorites . If you rightlick on a shortcut in the Favorites pane in IE and chose Properties, you find the location of yours in the path to the .url file. |
