I have a website online (www.kinderthuisverplegingkempen.be) . When I click on a tab, I want to change the bakground (not the tab-background). Probably I have to use the function "onclic" but it didn't work. Can someone help me with it ?

And the page really is at http://users.skynet.be/fb612666/ .
Do you mean the background of the whole page or of the section that shows the changing content? |

Well, the elegant solution would be to change the script that handles the tabs so it also changes the background of body. But it looks rather involved. The quick and dirty way would be to add a snip of JavaScript in an onclick attribute for each tab. Like this.
HTML <li class="TabbedPanelsTab" id="regio" tabindex="3" onclick="document.body.style.backgroundImage='url(http://htmlhelp.com/icon/wdglogo.gif)'">Regio</li> |

Is it also possible to give a size to that image ? |

Make the image the size you want it to be in an image program.
Why have you registered as two users? |

Yeah, the handle you use now registerd June 11 and geertvdp yesterday. I'll ask Darin if it can be fixed. I don't have access to the fancy stuff. Do you want to keep snuffel? I think you should, it's cuter.
