Creating a shadow effect with text in flash Options

Hello

i'm useing flash s3 to edit a site and the text used in the nav bar is gold with a black shadow or outline around it. One file uses black color text and one uses white color text stacked on top of one another to create the effect. I was able to change the existing text without problems but I needed to add another text box to the same file and the new text is not working like the original.

The white color text is not showing up at all. So instead of having gold text with a black outline I just have black text. I changed the color to match the gold but without the black outline it doesn't look good. Any idea what that's called or where I can research how to fix it?
