Hello
I wonder is there a way to create add-on domains automatically? I know it can be done in cPanel, but I'd like to have a program that will open an add-on domain (www.mysite.com/first, www.mysite.com/second, www.mysite.com/third...) based on the user input. Can that's be done?
Tnx,
Stjepan
Does this mean like http://imaginatorium.org/shop ?
But the "shop" is just a directory within my webroot directory, so yes of course a program could create it. But you would probably not want a program assigning arbitrary names to users...
Of perhaps I have misunderstood something?
Well, that's my English...
More precise: let's say I have www.maydomain.com. I'd like that one user has its own website at www.mydomain.com/joe, another use at www.mydomain.com/doe, the third www.mydomain.com/somename etc. The user would choose a template, enter some text, upload a picture(s) and then - miracle! Something generates a website www.mydomain.com/joe The user should have a password to be able to change the website. That's the general idea. Of course, it's out of the question to do that by hand.
A free hosting script?
No, I don't want to open hosting company. Imagine that you are on Twitter on Facebook and that you can have your design (website) when logged in.
Something like this? http://php.net/manual/en/function.mkdir.php
