below is the code, how do I remove the space between the header image and the top of the page? I don't want so much white space there.

I have looked at the code, there is nowhere where the word "margin" is in it to adjust. What do I do?

Yes there is. It sets all margins to 0 (zero), both with the old way as with a CSS style.

You could also use a reset css like the one from Eric Meyer: http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/css/reset/ .

And your body starts with an empty P tag: <p>&nbsp;</p>.
