Usually your web hosting provider or data center will provide free DNS hosting.

Zone Edit is one company though that some people seem to use along with dyndns (.org).

Check with your data center. I know the DC we use offers free DNS hosting. that is who we actually use. We maintain the primary (easier that way) and they are secondary.
