HTMLHelp Forums _ Markup (HTML, XHTML, XML) _ "Set this website as your Home Page!" How?

Posted by: Jack Marco Jan 22 2011, 01:50 PM

Hi Everyone,
I want my visitors to click on a specific image (a little house symbolizing "Home Page") in order to set my website as their Home Page or Start Page every time they open their browser. It should work with any browser.

Can anyone provide me with the HTML codes?

Thanks in advance for your precious help.

It's done with JavaScript. Not sure what browsers it works in today. I advice you not to do it. People will click by mistake, especially if you use an icon that's been used for links leading to the site's homepage since the web was a baby. They'll get mad at you.

Hi Pandy,
Thanks a lot. I'll try it and hope it will work properly.

Have a nice weekend.
