Here's the background story;

A local university program hired me to fix their website as their former webmaster was gone (Not too much information about why)
I received the log-in details for the website, but this is the first time I edit a website using My Network Places. (I had to create a network place with their login information to access the files) However, the problem is that when I go on their index page (http://www.cimal.hei.ulaval.ca/dav/) instead of the design, only the HTML code is shown.

The software I use is Dreamweaver CS5 and when I open the index.html page to edit the page, everything seems fine at first, even when I click on Design (Dreamweaver tab) to preview the layout, it's all good. The problem is when I upload the index.html page on their network place, the design won't show up. Only the code is shown. It pisses me off because I haven't edited a website in a long time (more of a web designer) and I can't seem to find what the problem is.

If you go on the site (link posted above) you will see the code. I just don't get it. And my files won't show up on Dreamweaver even when I attribute the SRC link correctly.

Sorry if you have trouble understanding my problem.

This is the code that shows up even though I fully edited the index.html page. After I upload it, this code shows up

''<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

I didn't even know you could do that.

The page you linked to is password protected. Does the source code of the page look normal or has something converted all < and > to entities? If it looks normal check what the content-type is.
