tumblr theme, need help with html coding Options

Okay so i'm not really that experienced in html

I used a theme for my tumblr and i modified some things in it.

It appears well on Firefox but not on Safari and Chrome.

And i'm on a mac.

The problem is in the social networking icons
How can i fix this?....is there a code that will force the icon to appear right next to each other (the way it looks on Firefox) instead of each one being on a line (on Safari)?

Fixing the validation errors will take care of that problem, especially the errors concerning "end tag for element p which is not open".
