Hello all, I've just been pulling my hair out on this one.
In chrome, this page looks fine. In IE8, there is a white box at the bottom of the page. I cannot figure out where this is coming from. The page in question is http://www.traditionalequine.com Other oddness, if I add a transitional doctype to this, my 'bottom' div layer won't listen to any absolute positioning. Any ideas on either issue, I'd be very appreciative. Thank you, Tom (Current page functionality is limited. Only the home, contact and first and last albums are currently up.) (I am not responsible for the content of home, or contact.) |

The online tools report markup and CSS errors:
http://htmlhelp.com/cgi-bin/validate.cgi?u...mp;warnings=yes http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validat...g=1&lang=en The missing doctype declaration puts browsers into quirks mode: http://hsivonen.iki.fi/doctype/ |

I actually ran it though a validator already, and decided I didn't find anything to cause that behavior. Believing that you were seeing something I wasn't I went and fixed every error I could.
.... I forgot a / in my closing iframe tag. Thank you. Any tips for my future endevors? |

Correct the errors the validator finds.

It wasn't entirely a joke. It worked this time and it often does. Alas not always.
