HTMLHelp Forums _ Cascading Style Sheets _ css complicated layout

Hello, I know its probably easier to set everything horizontal but i really don't want to do that. My design has a curve in the middle of page where i cannot ensure the black background will fill in the white space in every resolution.

heres my link so you can see what i am talking about. http://www.valleryarts.com/testing/index2.html

As you can see the end of hill, i would like to make sure it will show black background (ground) to continue from the hill to right side of monitor regardless the resolution size.

Let me know, i cannot seem to figure out and how to do this. Any help would be appreciated! happy.gif

I haven't tried this but:

Use a table (gasp) three cells wide. The two outside cells would expand with screen size and the inside one would have a fixed width and hold just the hill part of the sloped image. of course the hill would have to end flat instead of sloping down on the right side.

Placing the other stuff around there is left as an exercise to the student.
