You'd better use some decent text-editor, instead of MS FrontPage which is known to create horrible markup.

As for your question, go see Son of Suckerfish Dropdowns.

You could use NotePad, which is a simple text-editor, installed on any Windows PC.
I've heard other forum members talk about NVU, which seems to be continued by Kompozer. See http://www.nvu.com/.

I am on Mac, so I don't have any experience with these softs.

I have to agree with Frederiek. The best text editor is something like NotePad that forces you to hard code everything. There is a reason that programs like FrontPage or Dreamweaver are easy to use.

To solve your navigation bar issue, you might try installing a javascript code. There are several free Javascript sites that offer code similar to what you are trying to do.

No need for javascript, though the Son of Suckerfish uses a small piece.

You might find it easier to follow exemples of (nested) lists from MaxDesign's Listamatic.

Whichever you choose to use, you need to have some understanding of HTML and CSS and follow the provided instructions. That shouldn't be too difficult.
