Need Help In HTML (Need Help In Creating Autobiography) Options

Hi, Im a newbie at creating a HTML page.
I want to create my own autobiography using HTML Codes.
But my knowledge is too little on HTML.

Can someone give me an example of an autobiography code in HTML?

and also what is the HTML Code if I want to create the home page which has table of contents and when I click
one of the contents it will go directly to the page I desired.
