In HTML5 the TYPE attribute of the SCRIPT element can be omitted, but only if the script language is javascript. So either the script above is javascript, or the HTML is invalid. The script syntax also looks like some kind of javascript (JSON?).

I do not think it's JSON, but it is Object-Oriented Javascript.

And looks like some markup errors.

so if it is Object-Oriented Javascript, I would like to know on where the input/selected value is kept under following coding.

I don't understand the question. That's HTML (a hidden INPUT element), not javascript. It's value is stored in its VALUE attribute. However humans users can't read or edit the value of a hidden INPUT directly (since it's hidden), this can only be done by a scripting language.

Change type="hidden" to type="text".
