Hello,
I’m creating a web site and on one of the pages I have a multiple link area ( page: 2.3.4.5.) What I need to do is from the page that my visitor is on (this is the page with multiple links) I want to be able to click page 2, then page 3, 2 closes then page 4 and have page 3 close, so that there isn’t 5 extra web pages open in the background and setting on the task bar. I want the page that has the multiple links on it the page the visitor started on to open after the last page is closed. I’ve tried using the typical targets like target=blank, target=parent and target=self. None of these work as I want them to. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks, Ray |

Why can't you just use normal links to page 2, page 3, page 4, etc.? Why are you creating the original problem by opening new windows?

Why can't you just use normal links to page 2, page 3, page 4, etc.? Why are you creating the original problem by opening new windows? O.K. Darin, I found what it was that I had done. When I changed target info on one of 8 pages I forgot to change the target info on the other 7 page. What you said was not to open new window and that was what I was doing. Using no target window ( reg link) was the thing to do. Thank you for the info. Ray |
