Sorry, I do not even know what you call the effect I wish to recreate. I have seen on a TV listing website a feature whereby when the mouse hovers over a link (to a TV programme) a small window immediately appears giving details about the TV programme. This immediately disappears when the mouse is moved to another location. I would like to use this to display thumbnails of documents in my teaching resources repository so that a small preview of the document is shown before actually going to the document itself. It is some years since I dabbled in html and I do not think this feature was available then, I presume it is flash or some such
