Morning

I have the need to have a secure page on my website, so when they click the members only option on the menu bar, a login is displayed and once authorised they page contents if displayed ?

I have looked on the forum and tried various options but none seem to work right.

Also, does anyone know how to embed an excel document into a site ?

Cheers

If you are on Apache and can use htaccess files that's the easiest solution. Google "Apache basic authentication".

I think embedding Office documents are done either with IFRAME or OBJECT. But it will only work if the user allows it. I for one don't. And of course it will only work if the user has a program that can read the format in question and that allows this way of displaying.

It is easy.

1. Create a public folder
2. Upload your excel in public folder and save it as webpage
3. Click the file on your web application
