i'm very new to HTML and webdesign i am just looking for a simple html code that will open a popup with an image for an offer with maybe a 2-3 second delay when someone visits my site. i have looked around the web and tried using some of the codes i found but they did not do anything. i am using webplus x8 at the moment and those forums are no help. if someone could provide me with a simple code that i may put the offer image in that would be sincerely appreciated! thank you and have a wonderful day! ninja.gif

HTML won't be able to do it. To create the delay, you'll need JavaScript.

And many popup blockers will prevent the delayed window from opening.

It doesn't have to be a popup window, it can also be in an over layer, such as lightbox and its alternatives. Those already use jQuery, a javascript library, and maybe have options for a delay, or that might be added.
