Hey, I've looked around for info on setting up a completely secure PHP development environment, and am still uncertain (i.e. paranoid). I basically know nothing about networks and security. Is there a way to make XAMPP or WAMPP (Vista OS) completely secure? I'm not trying to put anything out on a server for others to see. I just want something unhackable for my learning. How would this work? Would disconnecting from the internet be enough? Should I use a separate computer? XAMPP lite on a thumb drive? Is it even possible to set up a water-tight environment?

This is the best I've got so far:

Thanks in advance!

If you google for "secure xampp" you'll find more of those.
It all comes down to securing a server, local or not. You could google for that ("how to secure servers") too.
