hello guys, since i have made my pc a server. some hackers breaking into my system copying music and picture files in e: drive. i don't know how they accesed e drive. coz my site is in c. is there any way to prevent that?

You could stop using your PC as a server, or you could tighten the security of your PC so it can withstand the kind of attacks that servers attract.

I don't know how to make a server more secure, but obviously it depends on how it (and the rest of the system) is configured.

To begin with, how do you know files have been copied, and how do you know the copying is due to the server?

they are not only copied but some of them are deleted also. and new files are created automatically.

How do you know it's done automaticlly and and as result of your server being hacked? laugh.gif

Sorry. That probably wasn't funny. blush.gif I don't know either, but have you done the obvious, closed the server down and scanned for known malware?
