Whats happening - can someone help me i have a problem with mozilla -
I am designing a site that works perfectly in IE but when viewing in mozilla all the tags <p tags> get pushed out of line when resizing the browser window - how can i stop this? they dont go with the flow of the site like it does in ie. if you guys can help it would be seriously appreciated@! just let me know if you need examples. i have a solid background with relative positioning and <p tags> with absolute positioning - when in ie - everything works cool and resizes perfectly but when viewing in mozilla - it goes crazy - please help! Can you provide the URL (address) of a document that demonstrates the problem?
In the meantime, please see the FAQ entry Why does my page display fine in one browser but incorrectly or not at all in another? |

I recommend that you start by fixing the markup errors and CSS errors reported by the online tools.
Is there a particular reason why you're trying to use XHTML rather than regular HTML? Whatever you do, pick XHTML or HTML and stick with the one you pick; don't mix HTML syntax into an XHTML document, or vice versa. Don't use px or pt for font sizes. Use 100% for body text, use larger percentages for headings and the like, and use (slightly) smaller percentages for legalese and similar fine print. |
