HTMLHelp Forums _ Web Server Configuration _ applet on website

I am developing a website using IWeb on Mac, and every time I try adding an applet by using <applet></applet> tags it freezes and I have to force quit IWeb. how can I put my applet on? My applet is a number system converter that converts between Binary, Decimal, and Hexadecimal.

Use a text editor.

Indeed, but rather not TextEdit. Get TextWrangler or BBEdit.
