Hey guys, im just wanna ask you whats better - website based on WordPress or Joomla?
a few days ago i created this - http://webdesign-edinburgh.co.uk/ based on wordpress from scratch but know i confused cause some of my friends told me that it would be much better if i do this website in Joomla. Well, i have never worked with Joomla before, maybe just one time. It is true that Joomla work much better than wordpress? Should i change it? Wordpress has so many greats plugins, widgets, themes... |

Why do you want to use any of them in the first place (as opposed to making a website in the traditional way)?

I don't think they are comparable. But of the two, if your site is a blog, use WP since it's a blog software. If it's not a blog Joomla may or may not suit your needs depending of what kind of site it is and if it's large enough to justify something like Joomla. Maybe something simpler will do. Or as Christian suggests, nothing at all.
