Hi

I am trying to retrieve the file path when a user clicks a link and opens a dialog box.

Can anybody help please?

I don't understand the question. And what image isn't loading?

When the user clicks on the link 'Choose image file', it opens a dialog box and chooses an image file. Then i want to display that image.

I'm sorry. I downloaded your HTML file but accidentally opened another file I had downloaded before. I can only blame that I'm confused by my new OS. blush.gif

Firstly, I think you need to use input type file. Secondly, it won't work anyway. Because of security reasons browsers will only return the file name without path. I think you need to go over the server somehow, actually upload the image. Maybe Ajax.

Christian can probably give you a better answer.
