I understand iv. But have no idea what is i, ii and iii or how to do it. I already have the xg2data folder installed and chmoded.
d. Example (*nix/*bsd):
i. Web server group is called “apache”
ii. Your name is “user”
iii. chown –R user:apache /server/xg2data
iv. chmod 774 /server/xg2data/*
Did you get it resolved?
Actually Ralph, I had the server people do it. It would have been nice to know how to do it in the future.
They're UNIX commands - to do that you'd login in to your server using telnet or SSH and enter the command at the prompt.
Doing man chown or man chmod at the prompt will tell you what they do, what switches and parameters are available, etc.
