document.getElementById, Need help in coding "document.getElementById" codes Options

This code i have basically creates a photoalbum. I want to do the same concept idea but with Text (ie. Name of a person) instead of a thumbnail, and when clicked on i want A: Text to appear, or B: a image to appear.
