Help with Carousel Posts?, Blogspot Options

As you can see it uses a Carousel widget which you can place any topic you wish. But I want to know how can I make another one of those carousel widgets?

I also came across this site, http://www.kabatashaber.com/ and I liked how their categories were sorted out like this, http://tinypic.com/r/2hobmhk/5

How do I make something like that for my Blogspot? I liked how they use the big photo for the first article and then use small icons for the other articles.

The same thing is used on this site, http://www.ampmagazine.com/

I really want these types of widget things for my site but I am unsure on how to make them can someone help me?
