I've been working on an eBay auction page that I want to insert into Blackthorne, which is an eBay sponsored auction listing program. Their html editor is very quirky and it will remove any css commands.
Blackthorne has its own code where pictures are supposed to go. You can have up to 12 pictures and they come from the listing you make outside of the html page. In the html code, pictures are designated [[Picture1]], [[Picture]], etc. You can edit using html or an WYSIWYG editor in which case you can insert predesignated item fields. I put a table around my pictures so they can have a nice border. The problem is that sometimes a listing may have less than 12 pictures so the empty tables show up with just the borders. I wrote this code knowing absolutely NOTHING about html and I still don't know anything so please respond to me with very elementary terminology. I know this is going to look pretty rudimentary to most of you. All the ideas for this template were borrowed from other web sites except I did the logo and buttons myself using PhotoImpact X3. Another small issue is that I designed a table 970x30 that has a dark background and holds my hyperlink buttons. The button sizes are all 97x30. Even though the table height is the same as the button height, the table extends below buttons. I want both to match up perfectly with no margin. The first bit of code is one of the tables where a picture goes. There are 11 more of these in the template. I found this empty cells code on the internet but it has no affect and doesn't remove the borders when no pictures are present. The second batch of code is the complete code from the template I designed.
