Hi all, new here and totally new to HTML. Please let me know if I don't structure this post in the best way or if it's better suited in another section.
I'm helping to run a relatively new site which is based on the Blogger platform but we've used a custom third party theme and I've managed to tweak it a fair bit, more by luck than judgement. Our homepage is My Webpage We have a carousel widget there displaying video by way of fetching blog posts with the video label. I'd like to try and modify that widget so I can enter video embed code to it directly. That way the clips will be playable on the homepage and no extra blog posts will be needed for them. Can anyone help me to modify the existing widget or perhaps write a custom one. I'm happy to do some reading if there is any literature which will help. I see the youtube embed code is in something called an iframe so think that is what I need the widget to display. Via blogger's layout panel the existing widget has this code: CODE <span data-label="Video" id="carousel"></span> There is more code related to it in the theme itself which I can also post if required. Many thanks for any help you're able to offer. |

Apologies all, since making the above post our site is now playing up and I have no idea why. When you first load the homepage it all looks fine and you'll be able to see the video section I've asked about above but now when the page is refreshed (for me anyway) the display seems to corrupt and much of the page's resolution goes the way of the pear.
I've posted this in another section as I could really do with some help in figuring out what is causing this. In fact that's now much more of a priority than the above. Sorry again for this becoming a bit convoluted. |
