I am using an IFrame to display content from other pages.
For example, say I used the following:

CODE
<iframe src="http://www.somewebsite.ext" id ="WHG" name="WHG" width="98%"  ></iframe>

Now, this iframe is already nested in a regular frame.

It loads up the other page in the iframe great. It is wonderful. However, whenever a link is clicked on that page, it opens the link in the iframe windows and/or the regular frame the iframe is nested in.

Is it possible to make it so that all links from the page loaded in the iframe will open up in the parent, i.e., full window of the page the iframe is on. So my page is loading in it, on a minisize, content from other pages using iframe. I want that content from other pages, when the link is clicked, to open up over everything and take over the page.

Sounds like the framed page might be on another domain though. Then there is no way.

Yes correct pandy, this is the case.

Not possible if it is on another domain? That makes me sad.

Whether it's on another domain is irrelevant. What matters is whether you can update the framed documents so they target their links the way you want them to target their links.

I was thinking that if it was on the same domain it would be possible to alter the target with JS. Why one would do that is another matter.

No I can not. That is why I was hoping there was a way in the iframe command to automatically force links to parent?

Sorry, no. The framing document can't change the way the framed document targets it's links, except possibly with JavaScript. But JavaScript doesn't work across different domain names, as pandy pointed out.
