Hello,

I am looking for an html library to do a certain task. I need a blank web page ( no map) that users can drag one or more icons onto the page and the icons stay in position. The icons would be picked from a list of pre-set images. Is there such a library available? I tried doing some google searches but am probably not using the correct search term.

Thanks,

Is the list of icons is part of the same page, or do you mean drag icons from outside the web page somehow?

Sounds like a drag-and-drop javascript. Here's an HTML5 example: http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_draganddrop.asp and here's one for older browsers: http://www.quirksmode.org/js/dragdrop.html

Hello,

Thank you for the reply. The list of icons would be part of the same page. A few in a list box users can choose from. I will check out the links you mentioned, and thanks for the search term.
