I'm sorry you took offense , none was meant
This is a extremely difficult forum for me.
I have copied the source I wrote on notepad as .txt . Now, how do I convert it after revision, to html for a webpage?
All I end up with is: .txt.txt or .html.txt . It remains as text. It never reverts to HTML as it has always done in the past. No matter what I do, I'm 80+ and going nuts! I have tried and tried but find no way to enter or send this question to your forum.

Well, explaining your problem is maybe a better way to start than to type something random, don't you think?

The code you say you have written, is that HTML? And do you want to save the document as something.html?

1. Write something.html in the first field labeled "File name".

2. Use the dropdown list to change the second field (labeled "Save as type") from "Text documents" to "All files".
