OUR CLIENT

Our Client is focused on expanding the awareness of, and demand for their products through an integrated mix of marketing programs including event marketing, email marketing, advertising, public relations, social media, search marketing, website and direct mail. The marketing communications department is responsible for preserving and strengthening the brands, and ensuring the company's key marketing messages are communicated to the public in a highly-consistent and unified way.

The Web Manager is responsible for all public-facing aspects of the company's online presence — from content publishing and maintenance to site analysis and optimization. In this role, you will act as the company's primary interface between marketing and web development teams, helping to identify site requirements, scope out and manage web projects, and implement site improvements to maximize visitor experience, lead generation and online sales.

Key Responsibilities for the Web Manager

Publish, modify and maintain site content. This includes, but is not limited to, landing pages, page edits and re-designs, navigation changes, and resource library/multimedia uploads.
Work closely with/manage in-house technical web developer to implement new web tools, services, and functionality for improved site engagement and visitor experience.
Work with in-house graphic designer to convert web page designs to HTML, optimize site design elements, and ensure uniform look-and-feel across multiple browsers and devices.
Oversee digital analytics to set benchmarks, track conversion success, and refine tactics and strategies.
Recommend and implement SEO tactics and strategies that help ensure first-page rankings for top keywords.
Review and analyze website on a regular basis for continuous improvement opportunities.
Stay current with industry trends in online and mobile digital communications.

Skills & Experience

4 - 8 years of experience as a web manager of a commercial, e-commerce-based website required.
Proficiency in HTML.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Content Management Systems (Drupal CMS desired) and Adobe Photoshop.
Familiarity with Pardot, Marketo, or Eloqua marketing automation software a plus.
