I have had reasonable experience with WinHelp3 (some years ago!) but none with HTMLHelp. I've downloaded the MS "kit" and installed it. Maybe there is an easier, public domain authoring tool to help my stumbling feet? The only 2 commercial offerings (EasyHelp, XDK) are way too expensive for me. wub.gif

This forum isn't about Microsoft's HTMLHelp product. It's about help writing for the WWW using HTML, CSS, etc.

Ah well....you were the first "hit" when I typed "htmlhelp" in Google. A misleading title...you are really HTML Help!

Well, all I can say is that we were here first. The conspiracy theorists might wonder if it is part of Microsoft's plot to subvert standards-oriented web design.
