Hi,
Am doing SEO for my site for the last 2 months and didn’t get listed in any of the pages on Google.com.au organic search. The keywords I used are “web designers melbourne” and “web designers sydney”. I want to optimize this site specifically for Australia. What step do I need to follow to get listed on the Google search results? Please help!!!

Thanks,
Nanda.

The site is indexed by google, but its pagerank appears to be zero.

Make sure you don't take part in the kind of link schemes described on http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/b...py?answer=66356 --I suspect Google might react to pages like this one: http://www.newcastle-web-design-australia....nk-partners.php

FWIW, this forum (and many others) uses the rel="nofollow" attribute on links, making Google ignore them when it comes to pagerank. See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nofollow

According to http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/b...py?answer=62399 the country-specific domain name should be enough.
