Does anyone have any idea why html commands cause IE to show one thing on screen and Firefox to show something different?

In preview mode in Front Page it looks as it should, opening in IE it looks as it should, but opening in Firefox the images are superimposed on each other when they have absolute positioning commands that should place them where they need to be.

Any idea why this might happen would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Please see the FAQ entry Why does my page display fine in one browser but incorrectly or not at all in another?

I think it's fair to assume that FP uses the available version of IE for its preview, so it's to be expected things will look the same in FP as in the browser.

FYI FrontPage always was a catastrophe and I think it has been discontinued for quite a long time now. Maybe a hint that it shouldn't be used.
