Seems you can't specify your real name in the profile (if you don't use it as your member alias already).

It is now available in the My Controls area. This field is currently viewable to all, is that what you had in mind? I can't really think of a reason off the top of my head that people would need to share that info with us. But that's why it's optional.
Having said that, I am at times excentric, so what if we wanted to send everyone a holiday card, or something like that. We wouldn't exactly be able to go and ask for the info ahead of time, so we'd only be able to contact those who provided it in advance. John |
