AJAX errors Options

I made a JS file to use AJAX. I call it with the following line:

getURL('<? print($web_dir); ?>/lib/writeProgressBar.php','','progressBar');

Firefox has this error:

Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to call method XMLHttpRequest.open

Also, IE has an error with parent.ProgressFrame.startProgressBar("<? print($sid); ?>"); in upload.php (On the site)

You can look at the site here. (The page is a frameset, though it may not look like it)
