Hi, I'm new at HTML and having trouble, not sure why though, on the links. I have 8 links that go
to other pages of my website. However 5 only work. There is two collums 3 of the non working links are on the bottom. If you type in the URL the name of the page (something.html) it works! But if you CLICK on the link in the table it doesn't work! I've tried redoing those pages even copying the working pages HTML onto it and I still have the problem. I'm using a free hosting service is that the problem? Please help if you have any idea what I'm doing wrong!!

It's only one link that doesn't work for me, the one to the math page. Did you fix the others?

Anyway, the problem is just the case you have used. You link to http://boothfickettgrade3.comule.com/Math.html, but the HTML file is named "math.html" with a lower case "m". Simple as that. wink.gif

Most servers run Linux or some other flavor of Unix as their OS. Than means that file names are case sensitive. It's not as on Windows. On a case sensitive system you can have both Math.html and math.html. And mAth.HtMl and so on. They are all different files.

The homepage should be renamed "index.html"

Some pages are named in all lowercase letters while some links begin with a capital-letter.

Edit: Oh, pandy got it first.
