How can I ensure one table appears below another table. Before I just used several <br /> commands. But this isn't consistent across browsers.

A second table normally will be displayed below the first table, unless you've done something to change that. So the answer is, stop doing whatever you're doing to make them appear side-by-side.

Can you post the URL (address) of a document that demonstrates the problem?
