Hiya again!

Just wondering is it posible to use alpha masks or somethin on a web page to get smoother edges on transparent images, im using images with transparent backgrounds and getting really jagged edges, either 100% transparent or 0%!

Any help would be great!

If you dont know what masks are our not sure what i mean here is an example: Masks

Ty!

That's possible with PNG images. IE6 an older alas require special tricks to support it: http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/alpha.html

Wow... I was about to ask whether anyone really cared about MSIE 6 any more, but it's still got a significant usage share. Actually, its usage share is bigger than MSIE 7.

And BTW, use Photoshop's Save for Web & Devices in the File menu to save the PNG.

Or, of course, use any other appropriate image software, probably with a less peculiar menu entry -- what on earth are "devices"?
