I have a page with a menu on the left and an iFrame on the right. It was originally designed to display a series of HTML pages in the iFrame. I have replaced the HTML with a series of JPG scans. They now open up to fit the height of the page but must be clicked on to become full size. What is the best method of displaying JPGs from a menu that remains where the pictures initially appear full size? IFrames are probably not a good way to do it.

You could replace the <img> content of the iframe with an html template which automatically generates css to scale the image to "real size". Assuming you have everything organised properly in a database, this is very simple. But as you say, the whole iframe idea is a bit naff really.
