Occasionally someone sends me an htmlhelp "personal message", which as might be expected of software as awful as this system, is a stupid email, with a link where I can read the message. I'm not prepared to waste all the time involved in this sort of nonsense.

Can I disable "receiving personal messages"

Can I opt to let people send me _real_ personal emails, that I can respond to easily?

Could we find something better? Probably something older, since most of the functionality added to software enhances the programmers warm feelings, but wastes everyone else's time.

You can turn off both the PMs and the email notifications about them in your CP.

Thanks Pandy. I tried "Yes" to "Disable PM". What happens if someone tries to send me one?

Sent you one. In this end it looked like it went off, but maybe that's because I'm a mod.
