Hello,

I'm trying to merge multiple instances of the Combo-Box Viewer (http://dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/comboviewer.htm with help from http://forums.htmlhelp.com/index.php?showtopic=8224) with a cookie script that remembers the user's selections after reload and browser restart (http://javascript.internet.com/forms/cookie-form-saver.html).

The problem is that the cookie script only remembers the state of the drop downs and not the actual content of the different combo box viewers.
I've tried a lot of different "tweaks" but without any luck.

All inputs appreciated!

Thanks.

The script at javascript.internet.com states it only works on dropdowns and textboxes
QUOTE
// It works on text fields and dropdowns in IE 5+
// It only works on text fields in Netscape 4

And they only talk about Netscape (4, sic!), MSIE and Opera.

You might be able to adapt the cookie part of the script from javascriptkit.com's Rich HTML Ticker.

Thanks for your input.

I know it's and old script (http://javascript.internet.com/forms/cookie-form-saver.html) but I've been searching for so long and it was the most usable I could find.

I've had a look at the Rich HTML Ticker but unfortunately I have not been able to figure out how to do what I want. (Did get a little more knowledge on cookies though)

If by any chance you (or someone else) can point at something more specific I will be very grateful.

Thanks again!
