With a serverside script, you should capture the result returned by PayPal, and act accordingly.
I can't help you in how to code that, but you should ne able to find info on that at PayPal.

Have you taken a look in the Developer section, probably especially in the How-To Articles section?

I'm sure you should be able to track the result of a payment, from within the PayPal site. Then, use the positive result code (the payment has been accepted; probably a variable set to 1 or something) to trigger membership to your premium user group.

If you really can't find anything, you might contact PayPal and ask them about it.

Good luck
